runZero Hour, Ep. 35: Dragos and the Research Cinematic Universe

This episode kicked off one of the most epic crossover events in security research history!

Listeners joined this month’s runZero Hour for the first post-acquisition episode, where Tod and Bri were joined by cybersecurity experts Reid Wightman of Dragos, Peter Eacmen of NetRise, and Cale Black of runZero (though technically they were all “of Dragos” by then).

PHP vulns were on the minds of all security peeps that day. The research team unpacked the vulnerabilities and shared what they had learned in the previous 18 hours. After covering the PHPocalypse (check out runZero's Rapid Response for PHP), they dived into what their combined OT, IT, and firmware expertise meant for the future of threat research and what was in store.

They chatted about their hopes and dreams for the research that would be released by their expanded team in the coming year, what each company brought to the table with their collective OT, IT, and firmware expertise, and most importantly, what it all meant for their shared customers, partners, and the community.
